The Sports Council for Glasgow Annual Awards Night was a fantastic event, hosted at the magnificent St. Andrews in the Square on the evening of Monday 15th November.
Almost 150 athletes, clubs and supporters attended this prestigious event. Everyone who attended appeared to have a really fantastic evening with appropriate amounts of food and wine flowing.
The Sports Council was delighted to be able to present in excess of 30 Awards in categories ranging from Junior Vounteer of the Year to Outstanding Individual Achievement Awards, and encompassing Awards for Disability Achievements, and Contribution to Ethnic Minority Sport.
These Awards really do reflect the diversity of talent and support that sport in Glasgow achieves.
On behalf of the Executive and Management Committees of the Sports Council for Glasgow we would like to thank all of those who attended, all those who took to the time to nominate their fellow sports men and women for the Awards, and the dedicated team of volunteers who actually made the whole Event happen.
